Authors’ Copyright Retention

Authors retain the copyright of their original work published in Jurnal Antropologi: Isu-Isu Sosial Budaya. By submitting a manuscript to the journal, authors agree to grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the work under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

This means that the authors’ rights are preserved while allowing others to use, share, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes, as long as appropriate credit is given and the resulting work is shared under the same license.


Permitted Use Under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0

Under this license, users are free to:

  • Share – Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format

  • Adapt – Remix, transform, and build upon the material

Provided that the following conditions are met:

  1. Attribution – Users must give proper credit to the original authors and the journal, include a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

  2. NonCommercial – Use must be for non-commercial purposes only. Any commercial use of the work is not permitted without prior written permission.

Clarification on Non-Commercial Use
